Sony - ultra-thin Xperia Tablet Z with Android 4.1

Sony has just announced a new tablet, the Xperia Tablet Z, reports Cnet. The device which has a 10.1 inch screen runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)and is only 6.9 mm thick, which makes it one of the thinnest tablets ever.
The fourth generation iPad is 9.4 mm thick while Google’s recently launched Nexus 10 is 8.9mm thick. According to most reports, Sony’s tablet appears to be the slimmest so far. It even beats the iPad mini which is 7.2 mm thick.
Other key features of the tablet:
• It has a full-HD screen
• A quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip clocked at 1.5GHz
• A 8.1-megapixel camera
