with Suzuki logo placed on the middle.On the inside, the car gets a new dashboard and taking a cue from the Hyundai i10, the gear lever has been now mounted higher up and close to the dashboard for ease of driving.

Sales of petrol cars are already
declining and the overall sentiment in the automobile market is quite
negative. The recent fuel price hike and interest rate hike has already reduced demand. Automobile manufacturers are planning to appeal to the Government to roll back
the increased excise duty (which was done in April 2012). Maruti Suzuki
has already seen a sharp decline in sales due to low production of its
hot selling models, the Swift and DZire. The company is working on a compact diesel engine which could make its way to the updated Wagon R.
