Aprilia 200
Aprilia
is eyeing its competitor KTM in India too. Piaggio’s launch in India
has paved way for its other Italian brands to make their debut here. Aprilia is very much famous for its RSV4 sports bike but its price tag is a big issue in Indian market. Witnessing the success of KTM Duke 200 in India, Italians are now gearing up to give a tough competition to the Austrians. Yes, we have heard that Aprilia is making a 200cc engine for its younger sibling of the flagship model RSV4. This 200cc bike will be a tough contender to KTM 200 and other Indian bikes as well. Aprilia 200 is expected to be competitively priced against Duke.

It is built on a all new steel tube frame, sporting a 296 cc engine mated with six-speed gearbox. It delivers 39 bhp @ 11,000 rpm and 2.8 kgm of torque @ 10,000 rpm. New Ninja sports all new body, bigger fairings, dual headlamps, radiator fan cowl, new pistons, (new) sleeveless die cast cylinders, wet clutch plate and a lot more. We also expect ABS, but as an optional feature.

On having a first look, many would not be able to make out that it is a 250R. GV 250 is a cruiser bike and is trimmed version of GV 650. Machine is having 249cc V Twin 4 valve engine mated with a 5-speed gearbox. It pumps out 25 BHP @10000RPM and a maximum torque of 22 Nm @7500RPM. We expect it to sport a price tag of less than 2 lacs.
Mahindra Mojo 300
Mahindra is a successful carmaker in four-wheeler segment. However, as of now it is betting heavily on its all new series of two-wheeler which is going to launch very soon, and Mojo is one such product. Mojo was expected to touch the launch pad long before, but due to some technical criticisms it got delayed for years. At a recent press release, Mahindra announced that Mojo will come by the end of this year. Mojo will have a 290 cc engine, and apart from that no other technical details were revealed.

Cafe Racer is going to change the face of Royal Enfield as said by an avid motorcyclist. It is one of the most awaited bike from the house of Royal Enfield. Sources said that the engine will be more powerful than the existing 500UCE, and delivering more 27 PS to 36 PS, on comparing. It is also going to be launched in US as well. We expect this one to be priced at 2.5 lakh.
KTM Duke 390
KTM 390 is currently being sold in Italy and UK. Indians will soon be able to get their hands on it. Under its Trellis frame Duke 390 holds a 373 cc 4 valve liquid cooled single cylinder engine. It works with a six speed manual gearbox which wobbles out a 44 bhp and a maximum torque of 35 Nm. Price tag is expected to be of 1.50 lakh for normal version. KTM will also launch ABS version which will cost around 1.75 lakh.
Pulsar 375
Pulsar 375 is more or less similar to 200 NS on the designing part. It can be said that, it will be roll out in competition with Duke 390. It will hold a heart of single cylinder which will give a maximum power of 40 horses and a torque of 30 Nm. It will attain a top whack of 160km/h. We also expect bigger Pulsar to use triple spark technology for ignition. Its price will be near to KTM 390, but we say that it will be much lesser than the Orange generation.
Triumph Bonneville
Bonnevile bike was first launched in 1959 and its legacy is carried on for more than 50 years. Bonneville has gone through various changes at times when needed. The present generation Bonnie carries a solid metal heart of 865 cc which punches out a maximum 67 bhp with a boosting torque of 6.93 kgm. Bonnie becomes angry at 190 kph but plays softly at a speed of 130-135 kph. Its price is expected to be 5.5-6 lacs rupees.

It is expected to be a sporting V Twin engine instead of a thumper. Davidson will bear a tag of ‘specially made for India’. We expect Harley 500 to be launched at a quote of Rs. 3 lakh.
