Asus has launched its Asus MeMO Pad, a 7-inch tablet, in India which
is priced at a modest Rs 9,999. The multi-touch device which runs
Android 4.1 version aka Jelly Bean has a screen resolution of 1024×600
pixels at 169 pixels per inch.
Other specifications include 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. It has 1GHz processor VIA WM8950 CPU and a Mali-400 GPU (Graphics). The tablet comes with a microSD card which has maximum limit of 32 GB.
It has a 1 megapixel front-facing camera that can record videos at
720p resolution at up to 30 frames per second. The device comes in three
colours — Sugar White, Titanium Grey and Cherry Pink.
It comes bundled with the Asus Webstorage app with free 5GB cloud storage for life. The Asus MeMO pad will be available in stores from next week.
