Facebook status could get more visual with new emoticons

The world’s largest social networking site(FACEBOOK), has begun testing a new status composer which could let users choose from a wide range of emoticons while updating their status.
According to the report, Facebook is currently testing the new visual activity sharing status composer with some users on the website and its mobile site.
The new array of visuals could allow users to chooose their status updates from different categories to share activities such as feeling, reading, or eating. You can then choose a specific emotion or piece of media or add a custom text description.

This upgrade could allow users to post various visual options and thus spice up their status messages. Mark Zuckerberg in his call to Facebook investors also hinted at the need for going beyond text and making content visually richer on the site.
